What to say. I'm nuts! That's pretty much all you need to know.

...

Okay, so you probably want a little more than that. Well, it depends on who you are. Some of you will read my profile and think I'm a nutter and want to get as far away from possible - others will want to stick around and have a look at the stuff that actually goes on in my LJ.

So, basics. Um. I'm a girl. I was born January, 1990, so I'll let you figure out how old I am ;) I've been writing fanfiction since early 2006 and since then I've created a livejournal page and have imprinted myself on many other web pages over the Internet.

My journal is about 90% friends-locked these days. It's more to make sure members of my friends and family in real life don't come across stuff I don't want them to see. My life varies from ranting about day to day activities to rambling about fandom.

I am, sadly, not so much in to Doctor Who fandom as I once was. I'm completely indifferent to the current season that's running (4.5 or whatever you folks are calling it now). I'm also equally indifferent to the upcoming season 5 and beyond. I will, however, always be writing fic and keeping up with the amazing friends I've made thanks to the show.

I tend to ... disappear off for moments (months) at a time. It's nothing personal to LJ, but I find I often get swept up into whatever happens to be my obsession at the minute. Sometimes it's computer games, sometimes it's working, sometimes it's LJing and sometimes - rarely these days - it's writing.

I'm notorious for starting fics and "never finishing them". I've only ever abandoned three, possibly four, of my WIPs to the ravages of the Internet. The rest I intend to finish, one day, even if it's in ten years' time.

Ideally I would eventually like to write for a living, so any constructive criticism (or encouragement!) you can give me towards that goal is always greatly appreciated (:

I'm a bit of a whore when it comes to comms. I own/mod about five of the buggers, some of them dead, some of them flourishing. Perhaps my biggest pride and joy is hearts_in_time, a community I started up perhaps two years ago when I was a newbie to live journal and thought wouldn't it be nice to have my own little niche of the Internet and pretend it was a nice popular community.

Well ... you can see how that turned out!

Aside from Doctor Who, I also dabble in the House fandom, and possibly Charmed as well (it's what got me into fanfic in the first place, after all). Generally, these are the pairings I stick to:

Nine/Rose, Ten/Rose
House/Cameron, House/Cuddy, Wilson/Cuddy and even Wilson/Cameron
Phoebe/Cole

Now that the boring stuff is out of the way (!), I can tell you, very simply, that I very much enjoy good conversation, hints at literary wit, staying up into the wee hours of the morning, making friends, finding people to read over my work when I'm nervous about it, writing fanfiction without ever actually posting it, petting small animals (particularly cats), being at university and spending time with my housemate. If you think we have a few things in common, feel free to friend away, if not, well ... thank you for reading to the bottom of my profile page, because you clearly have too much time on your hands ;)

Happy LJing! :D
